List your tool
This page explains how your AI presentation tool gets into the AI PPTX Maker directory. The form itself is at Submit a tool and takes about five minutes, if you have the items below ready beforehand.
What to prepare
| Name and URL | The tool's homepage, not a campaign landing page. Redirects to an unrelated domain lead to automatic rejection. |
|---|---|
| Short description in English | 160 characters max. What it does, not why it's amazing. We cut superlatives anyway. |
| Category | One of 10. If in doubt, pick the one where your customers would look. |
| Pricing model | Free, freemium, or paid. We check it against your pricing page. |
| Test access | A working account if the tool isn't freely usable. No specially prepared demo environment. |
| Links to your DPA and privacy policy | Speeds up the review considerably. We don't take them at face value, but we won't have to hunt for them. |
| Logo and screenshots | Optional, for verified listings. Otherwise we'll make our own. |
The process
- 1 Form minutes
You fill out the form.
- 2 Pre-check seconds
Automated: reachability, certificate, security, duplicates. If it fails here, nothing is charged.
- 3 Payment minutes
After a passed pre-check you go to Stripe. No editorial review starts without payment.
- 4 Ownership verification up to 14 days
DNS record, email from the domain, or a backlink.
- 5 Hands-on review 72 hours
We use the tool, build a deck, take screenshots, and document pricing and privacy.
- 6 Publication right after
Link, badge embed code, vendor area.
- 7 Re-review every 180 days
Free, for as long as you are listed.
Ownership verification: three ways
| Method | What to do | Time |
|---|---|---|
| DNS TXT | Add a TXT record to your domain:aipptxmaker-verify=<your token>The token is in the email you get after submitting. | minutes to about 1 hour |
| Submit with an address on the tool's domain from the start, and this step goes away entirely. | instant | |
| Backlink | Link to your submission page from a page on your website. | right after publication |
The easiest way is almost always an email address on your own domain.
Why submissions fail
The full list, so you know where you stand up front. Automated rejections cost nothing; editorial rejections are fully refunded. Unfavorable ratings are not a rejection and not grounds for a refund.
| Reason | Stage | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Unreachable or invalid certificate | automated | Often just a blip. A second attempt is free. |
| Redirects to a parked domain | automated | There's no product to review. |
| Domain younger than 30 days | automated | We don't list very new domains right away. Come back in a few weeks. |
| Flagged in a security check | automated | Google Safe Browsing raises a flag. |
| Duplicate | automated | Each domain is listed once. |
| Thin wrapper around someone else's API | editorial | Building on a third-party model is fine, as long as it's disclosed and adds real value. |
| No reachable responsible party | editorial | No legal notice, no contact person, no listing. |
| Advertised features that don't exist | editorial | We try out what the homepage promises, e.g. "turns any document into an editable PPTX". |
| Content without consent of the people depicted | editorial | Voice cloning and digital likenesses (e.g. AI presenter avatars) without consent are excluded. |
